Gecko Jewellery was founded in London in 1992, and is the UK's most comprehensive “one-stop-shop” wholesaler offering customers eight collections, each with multiple new product launches a year, covering a wide variety of looks from classic through to fashion styling. 

Gecko are an RJC accredited supplier, committed to quality as well as design and customer services. We were the proud winner of the Retail Jeweller 2017 'Ethical Supplier of Year' award.

OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE AND SUPPORT

Gecko Jewellery is entirely focused on delivering what the retailer most needs from their suppliers; speedy and efficient service.

Our dedicated office-based customer service representatives, mostly from a retail background, consistently meet their targets of answering the phone in under three rings. They happily assist with queries and offer support, responding to customer’s requests and questions the same day they’re received.

The distribution team unfailingly despatch all UK orders received before the advertised time of 2pm for delivery by lunchtime the following working day. In reality, the majority of orders received by 4pm are delivered the next working day too, thanks to the entire Gecko staff being multi-skilled and on board with the company’s philosophy, “Why put off ‘til tomorrow what you can do today”.

Investment in technology and tight procedures means that stock is in the right place at the right time, resulting in 95% of our 3,500 product lines being ready for immediate despatch throughout the year.

A team of seven area sales representatives cover the UK and Republic of Ireland, along with an international sales manager who develops business outside of the UK. The team give customers advance previews of up-coming launches, offer advice on best-selling lines and assist the retailer in maximising sales. Regular feedback is provided to the company directors and managers on what customers are liking/not liking from collections, requesting more of etc. These views and ideas are valued by the management team, and form the basis of continual improvement to customer service.

Comments from customers are incredibly positive, with Gecko’s service frequently being used as a benchmark, much to the annoyance of our competitors! Our consistent service and unfailing ‘nothing is too much trouble’ attitude makes Gecko one of the industry’s most highly regarded suppliers.

Gecko Jewellery’s designers are amongst the very best in the industry, and work hard to evolve the collections each season to ensure they are exciting, fresh and incorporating the latest trends where relevant, whilst staying true to the DNA of each brand. 

Inspiration and research is key to the company's success, and sources as varied as international jewellery trade shows, fashion trend forecasters, architecture and nature inspire our designers to create original and exciting collections. 

With Gecko Jewellery’s design knowledge and the manufacturers’ expertise in coming up with new, more effective methods of production they continue to push the boundaries of design whilst keeping their commercial edge. Gecko have a reputation for designs that are fresh, exciting and affordable.

COMMITMENT TO NEW PRODUCT LINES

Gecko’s eight jewellery collections are refreshed at least twice a year, to ensure customers can include regular newness across their collections which spans 9ct gold, sterling silver and fashion jewellery catering to the men’s', women’s' and children’s' jewellery markets.

The portfolio of work is constantly growing and diversifying to attract interest from a greater variety of retailers, as jewellery is sold by a widening type of retailer.

Gecko also regularly develop bespoke collections for larger customers. 

Gecko exhibit at some of the most prominent industry trade shows including Spring Fair at NEC Birmingham, and International Jewellery London at Kensington Olympia.

MARKETING OF PRODUCT

Gecko Jewellery understand the importance of marketing their collections both to the retailer and the end consumer. Most collections are supported by branded packing and point-of-sale to enhance the presence of their brands in store, and help create an aspirational buying experience for the end consumer. 

Catalogues are distributed for every collection launch, to help bring the new ranges to life, along with beautifully shot point of sale imagery using a combination of still life and model shots.

As jewellery styles change with the season’s trends, the identity of each brand remains cohesive through the clever use of colour, images and model shots. The aim is to help the retailer understand the jewellery trends and how they relate to general fashion trends.

New point-of-sale imagery is created each season, reflecting the theme of each catalogue & collection to ensure retailers have the latest photography to use on their displays.
